Grief is the normal and natural reaction to a significant loss of any kind.

 

Any list of grief situations would include death and divorce but the list should also include retirement, moving, pet loss, financial loss and health issues.

Why Yoga?

Yoga is a tool to open the heart and renew the mental, physical and spiritual body. Grief is an emotional response to loss but what we have learned about dealing with loss in our society has been intellectual.

Yoga provides the opportunity for discovery and opening, which are steps to the recovery from loss and which allow us to begin to let go. It can be a first step in taking the action necessary that leads to completion.

Join Audrey Pellicano R.N., Grief Recovery Specialist and Stephanie Anne Ervin, Yoga Teacher in a program designed to lead and support you through the practices of Guided Imagery and Yoga in your grief recovery.
